Our Story
DHARAWAL MAINTENANCE & CONSTRUCTION (DMC) is an Aboriginal owned business founded by Kristian Jarrett, Rixon Russell and Isaac Russell. We specialise in construction and maintenance services across Dharawal and Yuin land (Illawarra and South Coast of NSW).
Established in 2023, DMC began as a discussion among friends about our desire to collaborate with Indigenous people, serve Indigenous communities, and make a positive impact. As a result, we are dedicated to maintaining the principles of respect, inclusion, and reconciliation throughout our business processes.
Our Team
Kristian has over 10 years experience in the civil construction industry working on large scale local projects within the area. His role at DMC involves engaging with industry and community stakeholders and actively working on-site to ensure the successful and safe completion of our projects.
Rixon is an experienced and licensed carpenter, with extensive experience in the construction industry. Rixon’s role at DMC also involves liaising with industry stakeholders while actively contributing on-site to ensure the successful and safe completion of our projects.
Isaac has over a decade of experience running a successful bespoke garage door company and brings invaluable business knowledge and negotiation skills to DMC. As an all-rounder at DMC, Isaac handles a variety of responsibilities, from administrative tasks to stepping in and supporting the team when required.
